Samsung’s 2014 tablet lineup is highlighted by the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, offering a massive 12.2-inch 2560×1600 display in 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor (Wi-Fi model) or 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor (LTE model) flavors. As the “Note” name implies, the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 sports S Pen integration – the only feature which sets this table apart from the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 12.2. Other specs include 3GB RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front facing camera, Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz, a hefty 9,500mAh battery, 32 or 64GB storage with an expandable microSD card slot and IR blaster.
The software on the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features the same Magazine UX found of the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4, but Samsung has added new multi-window functionality to take advantage of the 12.2-inch display. Users are now able to view and interact with four different apps side-by-side, and if that’s not enough there’s also the option to have additional app open and float over the other apps. Samsung’s software steaks on the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 make this device a must-have for those who want to get work done on a tablet.
